Colorado Life Zones Info

In the map below it shows the different life zones.  If you looked at a topographic map (a map that shows different elevations), then you would find that they are incredibly similar.  This is because elevation is a major factor in determining the climate of the life zones.

You may notice the map does not have the desert southwest on it.  The far southwestern and western part of the state is more desert than grasslands.
